The MNice
Minnesotans have a really weird way of suddenly shutting off towards people. I'm sure other places have this issue as well, but this is the only place that I've been that has this issue.
I was out of karaoke Pride after party event for Rochester pride, and so when congratulated me on how well I covered peaches, and then when I joked "if anyone's going to ruin peaches it's going to be me" that person just shut off towards me. You could argue they couldn't tell I was joking but then it happened again. I do at a Bohemian Rhapsody was someone, and they immediately shut off before I could even say something to them about how well we both did.
And of course this is having many times before on many different occasions. I've lived here going on 9 years. I'm just now saying it because it happened in rochester. I kind of expected from a major city, and I guess some could argue that Rochester is a major city but it's not nearly as major as Minneapolis-Saint Paul. And I find that people in chaska-chanhassen-Shakopee don't really do it as hard as Minneapolis-Saint Paul and now apparently Rochester. Rochester isn't nearly as big, but the medical tourism probably takes a toll on them.
It's so disheartening. I actually wanted to move to Maine, something Trump became president and this became one of the better places to live. I don't want to have to deal with fucking Susan Collins, but the Maine Governor is really showing her guts to the president.
I want to live someplace with warmer people. I don't necessarily have to move states to get it, but it looks like I might.
