you're not the only one who's allowed to set boundaries

There was a tragic apartment fire a few days ago, and I helped with the community aid around that situation. 

One of my acquaintances decided to wrote me into a lot of interpersonal stuff without my permission and I removed myself and set boundaries with that person - after they started to make a big deal about how I didn't attend a meeting that I'm not obligated to attend, because I'm not a part of the association.

Some people think they're the only ones who are allowed to set boundaries, and I am the perfect person to show them otherwise.
