stealing mail!?

the new housemate recently accused me of stealing their mail. They're only proof of being that I opened their mail months ago by accident. I admitted to open the mail, apologize for it, and it was still there when they got there, so I don't know how they equated that stealing. But I made my feelings on the issue very clear that I don't appreciate false accusations and they need to keep their bulshit to themselves. they were already in and out before that, but now we're seeing even less of them, and I say we're better for it. Life is easier with their stuff just living here instead of them, because they generate drama and conflict. They went out of their way to make the only person that was advocating for them turn against them.
